This is the home page with a URL of newchapter100.cure100.org. We have left images and the countdown clock from the CURE100 clone. It needs some customization, but is hopefully an attractive and convenient start point for your home page.
The navigation above can of course be customized. In the main WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance -> Menus. Note: you may not have the credentials to change the logo in the navigation bar — please send an email to chandu[email protected] with the image of your logo to have this replaced.
A quick note about the Events Calendar. It is auto-generated by WordPress. Events are imported via “scheduled imports” (see Events in the left hand section of the main dashboard). If you don’t want an events calendar, we suggest directly pointing to the CURE100 integrated master calendar at https://cure100.org/events-calendar.
Regarding the Donation page and donation buttons: if your chapter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, you will want to retain these buttons and sections. Otherwise, they are easy enough to strip out, however, please consider pointing people to CURE100’s donations page at https://cure100.org/donate/.

About Us
Welcome To NewChapter100
Mission Statement
NewChapter100 is a grassroots volunteer climate action organization that seeks to reduce global Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions to net zero by 2040, or 5% reduction per year, through a combination of advocacy, education and campaigns at the local and global levels. We are a chapter of CURE100 (Communities United to Reduce Emissions 100%). We collaborate with other communities to take urgent climate action to stave off the worst effects of climate change.
