DESCRIPTION:The Croton Holy Name of Mary Care for Creation Ministry will be hosting a Sustainable Sunday Speaker Series event \n\n\n\nLocal girl who made good\, Julie Sinistore\, PhD\, a Sr. Project Director on the Sustainability\, Energy\, and Climate Change team at the engineering consulting firm WSP will be our presenter.  She will focus on: \n\nHow do our food choices impact the environment? \n\nWhat food choices can we make that substantially reduces an individual’s impacts on climate\, water consumption\, water quality and many other environmental impacts? \n\nWhat more can we do to examine and reduce our impact on the environment to ensure that all the Earth’s creatures enjoy a sustainable home on this planet we share? \n\nDr. Julie will examine the impacts of food choices from production through consumption and provide information based in scientific research to help answer these questions and dispel myths about food and sustainability. \n\nPlease be part of the online Zoom presentation by logging onto https://fordham.zoom.us/j/99964223882 at 3 pm.  The presentation will start shortly thereafter.  Login at 2:45 and chit-chat with fellow attendees. \n\nClick here for more details
